We are happy to announce that our article in the MTZextra "Prüfstände und Simulation für Antriebe" has been published on Friday, December 15th, 2023 - the article is in German.

The article describes out latest developments for adequately predicting the combustion of future fuels (eFuels) by means of 3D CFD simulations. Our strategy enhances the adaptability to different fuel types and provides significant improvements in computational efficiency compared to the use of other established combustion models.

The accuracy of the simulation was evaluated against experimental data from an optically accessible test rig under engine-like conditions.
